What is High-Pressure Processing (HPP) / Cold-Pressure?

At Squeezby, we use High-Pressure Processing (HPP) for our Cold-Pressed pouches—a state-of-the-art method that uses pressure (5.52x the deepest part of the ocean!) instead of heat to safely eliminate harmful bacteria like E. coli, Listeria, and Salmonella.

This ensures our Cold-Pressed pouches retain the natural nutrients, vibrant flavors, and smooth textures of fresh fruits, giving your little ones the goodness they deserve. Unlike traditional shelf-stable fruit pouches, which are high-heat pasteurized, HPP preserves the freshness and quality without compromising on nutrition, taste, or color.

Discover the difference with Squeezby’s fresh and wholesome Cold-Pressed pouches!

Can I Take the Pouches on the Go?

Yes! Our Cold-Pressed pouches are great for on-the-go adventures. Keep them chilled: pack them with an ice pack in a cooler bag and avoid leaving them at room temperature.

Can I Bring the Pouches on a Flight?

Yes, you can! Each pouch is 100ml, which complies with most airline liquid restrictions (typically 100-200ml). They’re perfect for keeping your baby happily fed while traveling. However, it’s always a good idea to reconfirm specific airline policies before your trip.

How Long Can I Keep a Pouch After Opening?

Once opened, we recommend refrigerating the pouch and consuming it within 24 hours to ensure it stays fresh and safe for your baby. Always seal the pouch tightly and keep it chilled!

Can I Freeze the Pouches?

We don't recommend it. Freezing may affect the texture and quality of the food. Keep Cold-Pressed pouches refrigerated at 0–4°C and enjoy them within 7–14 days of purchase. Once opened, use within 24 hours.

How Should I Warm Up the Food?

Our pouches are designed to withstand heat up to 120°C, but we recommend gently warming them using a warm water bath:

  • Use hot water from an electric pot (around 90°C).
  • Place the pouch in a bowl of hot water and let it sit for 8–10 minutes.
  • Before serving, always test the temperature to ensure it’s safe for your baby.

Important:

  • Do not boil the pouch.
  • Do not microwave the pouch.

These methods could damage the pouch or compromise the food quality. Warming via a water bath ensures the food remains safe, nutritious, and evenly heated!

How Much Food Should My Little One Eat?

Every baby is unique, so the amount they eat can vary from one day to the next (or even hour to hour!). Generally, babies will eat when they’re hungry and stop when they’re full. Some little ones might have bigger appetites, while others prefer smaller portions.

We recommend tuning into your baby’s hunger and fullness cues to guide feeding. If you’re ever unsure or concerned about how much your baby is eating, don’t hesitate to consult your pediatrician. They can provide personalized advice to ensure your little one is getting all the nutrition they need!

Just a Reminder: Even with these meals, breastmilk or formula is still an important part of your little one’s diet. It’s all about balance and keeping them happy and healthy!
