Mini Protein Packs: A Parent's Guide

Squeezby's Mini Protein Packs are bite-sized, protein-rich portions for babies and toddlers, made with wholesome, natural ingredients and no preservatives. They are a complementary food from 8 months onwards. This guide explains what is in the range and how to keep and use it.

What is in the range

Pack What is inside
Antibiotic-Free Chicken Minced 7 portions of 40g, made from antibiotic-free chicken
Australian Grass-Fed Minced Beef 7 portions of 40g, made from Australian grass-fed beef
Salmon Minced 7 portions of 40g salmon

Variety Minced Pack Without Beef 7 portions of 40g: 3 chicken, 2 salmon and 2 butter fish

Why 40g portions?

Each 40g portion is vacuum-packed on its own to stay fresh, and each pack holds 7 portions, which is a week of meals. You only take out the portion you need.

How to store them

Keep Mini Protein Packs in the freezer at -18°C until you need them.

How to use them

Take out the portion you need and thaw it, then cook it into your baby's meal, for example baby porridge, noodles or soup. Cook it until it is cooked all the way through and let it cool to a safe temperature before serving.

Choosing a pack

  • Chicken: antibiotic-free chicken, a good starting point.
  • Beef: Australian grass-fed beef for hearty meals.
  • Salmon: salmon, which is a source of omega-3.
  • Variety packs: a mix of proteins, handy for introducing your baby to different flavours and nutrients. Choose the pack with or without beef.

Allergens and first foods

Salmon and butter fish are fish, which is a common allergen. Introduce new foods one at a time, offer a small amount first and wait a few days before trying another new food. If your baby has a known allergy or eczema, check with your doctor first. Always read the label on your pack.
